BRANDING & DESIGN

Branding allows me to build identities that connect–visually, emotionally, and strategically. I’ve helped reimagine legacy institutions like Photo L.A., shape the cultural voice of JomezPro, and develop brand systems for companies, artists, and venues including Quiet Pictures, Magic Box, and Aloe Blacc & Exile. Whether launching something new or refining what already exists, I focus on clarity, consistency, and creative storytelling that feels true to the people behind it.

YOUTH CINEMA PROJECT & LALIFF
PALMA AWARD

Rooted in LA’s iconic palm trees, the LALIFF Palma is more than a mark of achievement. It is a symbol of transformation.

The dual palm leaves and spiraling film strip represent growth, collaboration, and the rising momentum of a generation empowered through mentorship, industry access, and creative agency.

Much like the Youth Cinema Project, which extends beyond the classroom to bridge students into the professional world, the Palma honors their evolution from student voice to cinematic force.

Unveiled at the 2025 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, the LALIFF Palma stands as a visual belief that talent is limitless when opportunity is equitable.

JOMEZPRO

As Creative Director and later Chief Brand Officer, I led the brand's rise to prominence through compelling marketing campaigns, innovative tournament coverage, must-watch original programming, groundbreaking partnerships, and successful product launches, leaving an undeniable cultural impact.

During my tenure, JomezPro's audience surged to a million dedicated fans worldwide, with over 250 million long-form views on YouTube alone. We delivered broadcast-ready shows to partners like ESPN and CBS Sports and strategically expanded our team to include two dozen full-time employees and contractors. Our audience came first and success followed.

PHOTO LA

I spearheaded the rebrand of Photo LA, the West Coast’s longest-standing international photography fair, ushering in a bold new visual era.

Together with an incredible team, we redefined what the fair means—not just for its global exhibitors and collectors, but for the vibrant LA art scene it calls home. The refreshed identity honors Photo LA’s international stature while capturing the unmistakable spirit of Los Angeles.

DYSTOPIA EMANON ALBUM

(Aloe Blacc & Exile)

Creative Direction & Photography for a concept-driven album that confronts our screen-saturated reality.

The cover captures a child, posture contorted, lost in the glow of a screen. It's a stark metaphor for the digital dystopia consuming even our youngest minds. This imagery sets the tone for Emanon’s latest project: a politically charged, socially conscious hip-hop record that blends sharp lyricism, masterful production, and cultural critique. The result is a body of work that challenges, resonates, and remains undeniably listenable.

QUIET PICTURES

Tasked with rebranding an Emmy® Award-nominated production house behind acclaimed works like ESPN’s 30 for 30 and PBS’s Independent Lens, I led the evolution of a brand that champions independent storytelling.

Working closely with founder Bernardo Ruiz, we honored the company’s roots—retaining the signature VHS motif—while crafting a refreshed logo that reflects their ethos: grounded, industrious, and fiercely independent.

MAGIC BOX

Branding the unconventional convention center.

Magic Box at The Reef isn’t your typical event space. It’s a bold, genre-defying venue at the heart of Downtown LA. Partnering with the internal team, I led the creation of a striking visual identity that’s as memorable as the experiences it hosts.

From immersive interior signage to commanding presence on the nation’s largest digital billboard, the brand reaches millions daily—capturing the energy, scale, and audacity that define Magic Box.
